EmpowerHER is a student-led community awareness organization dedicated to dismantling the systemic barriers that hinder female self-actualization, health, and professional advancement. Based in Skokie, Illinois, EmpowerHER's core purpose is to cultivate self-worth, autonomy, and socio-educational equity, enabling women and young girls to take on leadership roles in their schools and communities. EmpowerHer is actively raising awareness about three interconnected, data-driven crises: bridging the professional recognition gap, reversing the adolescent female confidence crisis, and spreading localized community knowledge regarding breast cancer.
